About BIF

Founded in 2015, BIF has grown from a small local showcase into a much-loved fixture in Brighton’s creative calendar. BIF champions illustrators, publishers, makers and independent creatives – creating space for connection, discovery and bold visual work.

For 2026, we’re once again hosting a large-scale weekend festival, bringing together a strong mix of established and emerging exhibitors. Demand is always high, and selection is carefully balanced to ensure a varied and exciting mix of work across the room.

If you’ve not attended a “Big BIF” before – the weekend goes beyond tables. Alongside the fair, visitors can expect talks, workshops, screenings and special guests, creating a busy, inspiring atmosphere throughout the weekend.

BIF is open to the public: Saturday 31 October & Sunday 1 November Saturday: 10am – 6pm Sunday: 10am – 5pm

Applying for a Spot at BIF - What You Need to Know

Tell us a little about your practice and how you work - just enough to give us a sense of what you do. Please include links to portfolios, socials or shops with examples of recent work from the last 12 months, so we can see what you’ve been busy making.

Collectives: if you’re applying as a collective, you’ll need to book a full table. Each exhibitor space allows a maximum of two people behind the table, intended for those helping or working at the table. Any additional members of your collective will need to purchase a visitor ticket.

Application Deadline: Complete the application form by Friday 15 May. We’ll be in touch within 4–6 weeks of the deadline to let you know the outcome.

Table Rates

Weekend Tables (Saturday & Sunday)

Full table (6ft x 2.6ft) – £150
Half table (3ft x 2.6ft) – £75

Single Day Tables (Saturday or Sunday)

Full table (6ft x 2.6ft) – £90
Half table (3ft x 2.6ft) – £45

Please note: if we’re unable to offer your requested day, you may be offered the other. As always, we’ll do our best to accommodate preferences.

👉 Clothing Rails

Clothing rails are limited and incur a small additional fee. Rail space is not guaranteed and must be confirmed in advance by the BIF team. Exhibitors must bring their own rail (max 4ft).

A Note on Pricing

Our table costs reflect higher venue and event costs as we continue to grow the fair. We’ve worked hard to keep tables as affordable as possible while expanding the programme and creating more reasons for visitors to stay, explore and support exhibitors.
